The work that needs to be done in Glacier National Park to maintain that incredible experience varies year to year with unpredictable natural elements, visitor volume and challenging Park budgets. Sometimes we find that trail damage has been extensive, structures have been destroyed due to avalanches or high wind and a high record of visitors exceed the capacity of existing interpretive and school programs. While the Conservancy works to continually fund programs such as regular trail rehabilitation, education and Citizen Science, each year we step up to the plate to help the Park with unforeseen challenges and opportunities. That is where your unrestricted support really makes a difference.
By supporting Glacier National Park, you are helping to protect this pristine place for years to come. Each year, your donations support important park projects. From making field trips for school children possible, to furthering wildlife research, to rebuilding washed out and overused trails, your partnership in Friends of Glacier matters. Thank you.
